Travellers arriving in Sri Lanka before 31 January 2020 are entitled to a visa free of charge when applying for a visa directly, using the following link - www.eta.gov.lk For travellers arriving from 01 Feb 2020 onwards, a compulsory visa is required and can be obtained prior to travel and also on arrival. We would strongly recommend that these are purchased prior to travel by calling 'The Travel Visa Company' on 01270 250590 and quoting Mercury Holidays, who will be happy to arrange this for you at the cost of a visa plus a small admin fee. Alternatively, you can go to www.eta.gov.lk directly. Please note, children under the age of 12 will also require a visa and this can be done at the time of parents/guardians visa application.
